Bushfire and Flooding Mental Health and Counselling Support for Western Victorian Communities

A number of mental health and counselling support services are available for communities across western Victoria impacted by the recent fires and floods in the region.

Anyone directly impacted by or feeling stressed or anxious as a result of the fire or flood events can choose to access either local or statewide services best suited to their needs.

A reminder that State Government Emergency relief payments are available for eligible people affected by the recent fires. More information including how to apply for the payments is available from the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing website: January 2026 fires | DFFH Services
