Let’s Work Together to Create Better Mental Health and AOD Support in Western Victoria

Western Victoria PHN (WVPHN) wants to improve the primary health care services it commissions to support people with mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs issues – and we want your help.

As part of a far-reaching re-design process, we are seeking to better understand how and where we can enhance services we commission to make sure we help those people with greatest need.

As a first stage, we are hosting a series of online workshops to gather information on existing services by giving people with lived experience; carers; and health and community service providers opportunity to share their experience and knowledge.

The redesign process is part of our commitment to implementing best practice and innovative thinking to ensure the sustainability of primary health services in our region.

If you are unable to attend a workshop, other opportunities to contribute are available via our online consultation platform Meeting Place.

Workshops for people with lived experience, carers and community services will be held on Wednesday 21 April and Tuesday 27 April.
