Western Victoria Primary Health Network (PHN) CEO, Dr Leanne Beagley, is pleased to formally announce Clair McDonald as the newly appointed Senior Manager for Wimmera Grampians. She has taken over from Laura Martin who has moved into an aligned senior role in the PHN.

On behalf of Commonwealth government, the PHN provides support for general practice providers across western Victoria, commissions new services to meet health care gaps and works to integrate services across the health ecosystem.

Clair grew up in Horsham and worked as a registered nurse at Wimmera Health Care Group for seven years before commencing at the PHN to provide support and advice to GPs and other primary care providers.

Ms McDonald said she is passionate about the voice of our rural and remote communities.

“I’m also passionate about how we can support services and systems to work together in delivering the right care at the right place at the right time, enabling better health outcomes for our community,” she said.
