Primary Matters – 4 March 2026

Join us in March – Reminder about our Clinical Evenings and Primary Care Orientation Day

Starting on Wednesday 11 March in Horsham, we’re holding a series of Clinical Evenings around our region for GPs and Practice Nurses.

Each evening a local specialist will give a presentation with a dermatology focus, while you’ll also learn the latest news from Western Victoria Primary Health Network (WVPHN), network with colleagues and enjoy a free, two-course meal.

You can join us for the following dates:

Later in the month, on Saturday 28 March at the Goods Shed in Ballarat, we’re holding a Primary Care Orientation for International Medical Graduates (IMG) and GP Registrars. The day has been designed to support IMGs and Registrars in their primary care journey and will include presentations from RACGP, ACRRM, RWAV and much, much more.

If you know of any IMGs or GP Registrars who may benefit from this day, please direct them to our website.

Aged Care Pharmacist Connect

We recently launched the Aged Care Pharmacist Connect to help match Pharmacists and aged care homes wishing to participate in the national Aged Care Onsite Pharmacist (ACOP) program.

See our video above for an overview of how ACOP is working for Great Ocean Road Health’s aged care home in Lorne. Other interested pharmacists and RACHs can take the first step by simply filling out and submitting the online form on our Aged Care Pharmacist Connect webpage.
