Project ECHO Persistent Pain returns for Series 3 on 10 February 2021

Project ECHO Persistent Pain is returning for Series 3 on Wednesday 10 February 2021 to enhance primary health care clinicians’ knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver best practice chronic pain management.

Western Victoria PHN facilitates an expert panel of pain specialists from Barwon Health, Transport Accident Commission and WorkSafe Victoria for each session. A specific pain topic and case study discussion are held during the sessions which are broadcast to registered participants throughout western Victoria.

The project aims to:

  • To improve knowledge, competence and performance of Project ECHO participants related to pain management
  • To improve knowledge, competence and performance of Project ECHO participants related to work and transport injuries and compensable settings
  • To improve knowledge-sharing and foster a sense of community related to pain management
