The 2021 Primary Care Refresher will be held over two days on 29-30 May and has expanded to include all health professionals, alongside GPs.
Western Victoria PHN is delighted to announce that the keynote speakers for this year’s event will be include Professor Michael Kidd AM, Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Adjunct Professor (Practice) Alison McMillan, Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer.
The Primary Care Refresher has transitioned to a virtual conference this year due to the COVID-19 restrictions and will be delivered through experienced event management company Expert Events. With the new interactive eLearning platform, participants can choose to attend one or several sessions over the weekend based on their interests.
There are two streams as follows:
- GP Stream: will cover important topics relating to GPs only (RACGP and ACRRM points will be applied for).
- Primary Care Stream: will cover important topics relating to GPs, Practice Managers, Practice Nurses, practice staff and Allied Health Professionals.
