Welcome to Westvic News

Jason landscape SMALL for website

A major role of Western Victoria PHN is to commission the delivery of primary health care services to public, private and not for profit organisations. Part of our establishment year is to transition ourselves from running our own primary health services and place them in the responsibility of others who through a competitive and transparent process can demonstrate their capability and capacity to do so.

In line with this direction and new federal government mental health policy, Western Victoria PHN together with the headspace Youth Mental Health Foundation invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from organisations to operate headspace Geelong and headspace Ballarat from 1 July 2016.

The EOIs were advertised in newspapers last Saturday including opportunities for a detailed information session for headspace Ballarat, 2pm on Thursday 25 February 2016 at our Ballarat office, 105 Webster Street and for headspace Geelong, 2pm on Friday 26 February 2016 at our Geelong office at 131 Myers Street.

The sessions will detail the lead agency role and key aspects of consortium participation.

Visit the headspace website to view all documents relating to the EOI. Submissions close on Friday 18 March at 5pm (AEDT).  For all other enquiries contact lschell@headspace.org.au or Lori Schell on 03 9027 0105.
