Mental Health and Alcohol and other Drug Service Re-design workshop – Lived Experience – 27 April

Let’s Work Together to Create Better Mental Health and AOD Support in Western Victoria

Western Victoria PHN (WVPHN) wants to improve the primary health care services it commissions to support people with mental health and alcohol and other drugs issues – and we want your help.

As part of a far-reaching re-design process, we are seeking to better understand how and where we can enhance services we commission to make sure we help those people with greatest need.

As a first stage, we are hosting a series of online workshops to gather information on existing services by giving people with lived experience; carers; and health and community service providers opportunity to share their experience and knowledge.

The redesign process is part of our commitment to implementing best practice and innovative thinking to ensure the sustainability of primary health services in our region.

If you are unable to attend a workshop, other opportunities to contribute will be available via our online Meeting Place consultation platform.

As part of the initial work, separate workshops have been organised for people with Mental Health and/or AOD and their carers to tell us about their experiences.  More information is available here

Please note, the workshops will be held via Microsoft Teams. Meeting links will be sent to you, once you have registered.
A courtesy reimbursement payment for participation time is available for eligible attendees.
