Western Victoria PHN (WVPHN) has initiated the Project ECHO COVID-19 sessions to help connect local health practitioners with relevant experts and improve the flow of information and knowledge to support wider efforts to better understand and combat the current pandemic.
Weekly teleECHO sessions are held on Thursday mornings from 7.30am – 8.30am and are delivered via live video conference. They are open to all primary care clinicians in the WVPHN catchment region. 2022 session details to be confirmed
About the COVID-19 teleECHO sessions
WVPHN has brought together an expert panel for each teleECHO session. Each week, the panel comprises clinicians from across western Victoria who are experts in the chosen topic of discussion.
The aim of the sessions are to:
raise awareness of regional planning relating to COVID-19 testing, assessment and treatment services
help primary care practitioners better understand referral pathways both now and into the future as new services emerge in response to regional planning at local, state and national levels.
Topics will reflect the changing issues and trends of the week and every session will include time for questions and answers based on questions and feedback submitted by participants prior to the session.
All sessions are free to access via free Zoom video-conferencing software. This software can be used on any computer or mobile device equipped with a web camera and microphone. You do not need a Zoom account to join a session

We recommend you complete this before your first session as the process does take a few minutes to run. For further information, refer to the Zoom guide.
At a scheduled session time, click the link again and you will automatically join the session . You can also save and access the session information from within the Zoom application if you prefer.
