Learning outcomes:
• Describe features and benefits of the national My Health Record system
• Recognise consent obligations, legislation requirements and security features in place, to protect the My Health Record system
• Discuss access controls built in to the My Health Record system with patients, to assist them to manage their key health information
• Utilise the My Health Record system in day-to-day practice to improve patient safety
