GEELONG: Face to Face Ice Training for Community Health Workers - Wednesday 19 June

Free training is now available for all Victorians who come into contact with ice-affected people as part of their job

360Edge, Australia’s leading alcohol and other drug consultants, is now delivering free half day workshops to frontline workers across Victoria.

The training will build your confidence, knowledge and skills so you can respond safely and effectively to people affected by the drug ice.

Topics:
Understand the effects of ice and identify users
• Find out how to work safely to protect themselves and others
• Learn how to respond effectively to ice-affected people
• Understand what works in treatment

This training is for anyone who may come in contact with people who use methamphetamine (‘ice’ or ‘speed’). The training is optional and may be eligible for CPD points for most professional bodies
