• Perform cardiac arrest resuscitation including Airway Management; CPR – All aspects to maximise it; Appropriate drugs; Management of Asystole, Pulseless electrical activity (PEA) and Defibrillation.
• Apply advanced Airway techniques including bag-valve mask (BVM) techniques; Laryngeal mask; intubation and appropriate drugs for the airway.
• Ability to apply electrocardiogram (ECG) skills in 20 seconds including Paediatric ECGs; Blocks; Identifying subtle ischaemic changes; Sudden Cardiac Death; Atrial Fibrillation; Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome (WPW) and Rapid Ventricular Tachycardia Diagnosis.
• Apply diverse skills in mild, moderate and severe trauma with their approach to patients; common fractures, dislocations and their treatments; and clearing the cervical spine in both adults and children.
