Colac Area Health – Memory Group A six week multi-disciplinary community program designed to provide education and support for people who are experiencing changes to their memory and their carers. The program aims to increase participants’ understanding of memory and how it impacts their daily life, and to provide strategies for managing their memory at home and in the community. Barwon Health & Anam Cara Colac – Memory Lane Support Group  A support group for carers and people experiencing memory loss and an opportunity to connect and converse over morning tea each month. Miller House – Social Support Group A program providing group or individual support to people including those with dementia. Community group programs offer exercise, outings, education, day respite, carer support and person-centred activities. OT Essentials Provides Occupational Therapy (OT) assessments and interventions to people with dementia. Trained in Care of People with dementia in their Environments (COPE), a practical program to help the person with dementia to manage their day-to-day activities and the carer to support the person with dementia to live at home.
