Healthy Ageing Hubs
WVPHN has commissioned three Healthy Ageing Hubs in our region to provide older people with access to information, services and programs for living well and remaining socially connected within their community.

Active Geelong
WVPHN partners with Active Geelong to engage with local GPs and health professionals for advocating increased physical activity. Programs include My Clinic Walks, Movement Champions and promoting the prescription of physical activity as part of health care plans.
In addition, we sponsored the Active Primary Health/GP Clinic of the Year category in the Active Geelong Active Workplace Awards in 2023 and 2024. The award recognises GP Clinics that go above and beyond to promote physical activity to their staff and patients.
