East Geelong Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated General Practitioner to join our team of longstanding and experienced GPs’ on a part-time or full-time basis. Our medical centre is private billing and has been providing high-quality, comprehensive healthcare to the growing East Geelong community for over 40 years.

• Fully registered and experienced General Practitioner
• Strong clinical skills and expertise in primary care, with a commitment to evidence-based and patient-centred practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families and the broader healthcare team
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up to date with the latest medical advancements

What we offer:

East Geelong Medical Centre has a team of supportive doctors whose interests include assisting with Registrar and medical student education. Our experienced nurses run dedicated Health Assessment/Care plan days and assist our doctors with procedures, injections and dressings. We have two Diabetes Educators. Our admin team assists the practice to run smoothly and offer a wealth of knowledge with billing and admin procedures.

We have developed a relaxed, inclusive culture and would take time to ensure a smooth transition into our team by providing orientation to suit your needs.
You will have complete flexibility to manage your days of work, your timetable and your billing. On call requirements are minimal (one Saturday morning approximately every 10 weeks) with a deputising service covering after hours and public holidays. As a result, you will enjoy a great work-life balance.
On-site we provide pathology and a team of allied health professionals including a Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiotherapist, Dietitian and Podiatrist.
