An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Practice Nurse (RN) to join our brand-new, family-friendly clinic located in Wendouree. You will be working alongside an exceptional and supportive team of experienced doctors in a positive, patient-focused environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Practice Nurse in General Practice (minimum 1 year)
• Chronic Care Management
• Experience in health assessments and care plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills (experience using Best Practice highly desirable)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Immunisation certificate with strong knowledge of the immunisation schedule (highly desirable or willingness to obtain)
• Full Australian work rights

Key Responsibilities

• Acute and chronic wound management
• Child and adult immunisations
• Chronic Disease Management and care planning
• Assisting with minor procedures and iron infusions
• Preventative health strategies
• Ear syringing
• Cold chain management and infection control
• Maintaining recall and results systems
• Stock management and ordering

Working Hours
The practice operates 7 days a week.
You will be rostered:

• Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 5:30pm

Flexibility to cover additional shifts for annual and sick leave is required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
• Current registration – Registered Nurse APHRA
• Australian work authorisation (Required)
