About Warrnambool Medicare Urgent Care Clinic:
Medicare Urgent Care Clinics provide healthcare to people who need urgent care but not an emergency response. Urgent Care Clinics offer immediate care, including treatment for infections, fevers, cuts, burns, fractures and sprains. They are staffed by urgent care doctors and nurses.
Warrnambool Urgent Care Clinic is operated by Epichealth Medical Group. We are currently recruiting local or non-local Urgent Care GPs who are interested in full-time, part-time or casual shifts.

About Warrnambool:
Warrnambool is located roughly 265 km southwest of Melbourne’s CBD. It is known for its stunning beaches, rich maritime history, and its role as a gateway to the Great Ocean Road. During summer, the city becomes a popular tourist destination for a range of water activities, while from June to September, it is famous for whale watching.
Warrnambool is a DPA, MM3 location. This position may be suitable for GPs who are under 10-year moratorium.

What we offer:

• The GP will be engaged as an independent contractor
• Flexible hours, Full-time, part-time and casual roles available
• We are setting up a co-located GP clinic. Successful GP candidate could opt to work in both the Urgent Care Clinic and the GP clinic
• We have a team of Practice Manager, Registered Nurses, Medical Receptionist to support the GPs
• Standalone building with staff toilet, staff pantry and a small garden
• We use Best Practice (BP Premier) software
• Rates: Weekdays: $250/hr + GST; After 6pm and Sat: $275/hr + GST; Sun: $300/hr + GST
• Pay cycle is fortnight

Requirements:

• Specialist Registration in General Practice with AHPRA
• Prior Emergency Department and Urgent Care Clinic experience would be necessary
• If successful in the application, the GP will need to provide current Police Check, Working with Children check, and will have to complete Cultural Awareness Training, Disability Awareness Training and Diversity Training, and other relevant training and documents as required
